Millburn Distillery Demolition

 

My thanks to Inverness on Film and George for this image of Millburn distillery being repurposed, which dates from 1988.

Fortunately for us, George took out his camera and captured the moment. We tend to forget in today's instant snap world (thanks to mobile phones) the once cumbersome nature of taking images and then having them developed.

Here we can see the front element of the distillery site being demolished. Today, the land to the right forms part of the carpark, which was a similar fate that Glen Albyn and Glen Mhor endured.
